As you may have noticed if you're reading this on LJ, I've turned off commenting on the crossposts. I am waffling over whether to stop crossposting entirely (except for the occasional PSA). However, for the moment I am not in a rush to entirely delete my journal, because it occurred to me that 1. that breaks memories links and it always annoys me when that happens, and 2. I don't want to orphan the community I own (though I have backed it up to DW) without discussing the community's future with its members, and that needs to get handled.

As I see people and communities make their own announcements about moving to Dreamwidth, I am gradually removing them from my reading filter on LJ and adding them on DW (not unfriending, just tweaking of reading lists).

Oh, that was weird. Since I read it here on DW, the line about "removing them from my reading filter here and adding them over there" came out with the meaning reversed, and it took me a moment to figure out what was going on.

Sort of like reading mirror writing: easy enough, once you realize you need to make the compensation, but a little confusing until that realization.

I do still keep my eye on the otherkin comm there, so if you just need me to be more active or whatever give me a buzz. Not like literally anything is happening there anyway lol.

I wouldn't over think it. Nothing lasts forever, and I doubt you'd get more than like 5 people even noticing and responding to a poll! It would be nice if it could migrate and fold into the DW otherkin though.
