Did they also have their ovaries out? That's the only way it could be considered "instant menopause". The processes continue even if there's no blood, even though menstruation technically means the shedding of the uterine lining. Trust me, I would have LOVED to stop having every single other symptom, but that only happens if the entire reproductive apparatus is removed. I guess we women who have had hysterectomies could use a new term for the SAME DAMN THING? (Sorry...don't mean to be touchy.)
