Praise be for the new option in Outlook Express service pack 1, "Read all messages in plain text", which, though it still downloads the attachment HTML component, means that I no longer have to be bothered with seeing people's stupid "stationery" which usually makes their emails so hard to read.
(I'm sure the fact that such a feature only managed to get included after the update to the sixth version of the program further proves the inferiority of Microsoft software, but meh...)
