This really amused me. I suppose one could do it as a serious working (if one had a way to catch a wild mouse!), but I was mainly just taken with the tongue-in-cheek style, as well as the MST3K reference ("Does the devil lose his flavor on the bedpost overnight?" which is from Santa Claus).
