AUGH! I just noticed I sent out three resumes with the total of my time worked "as library technician and support" calculated incorrectly. Apparently I can't count to eight and a half, and they all say seven and a half years. And these were to libraries, too, where knowing the total amount I've already spent in the profession might be an important factoid, as opposed to this "communication specialist" thing I'm trying to revise my resume into a skills-oriented format to apply for, since it's more important to convince them that I have applicable skills than specifically that I am a competent library tech. But YARGH! I just hope no one tries to actually add it up, 'cos that'll look pretty dumb on my part.

95-97 = 2
99-00 = 1
fall 00 - spring 06 = five and a half, not four and a half. you jerk.

(really, I ought to have known off the top of my head that I had no fewer than five years, since five years was the service credit required to "vest" in the district pension plan, and I had to keep telling my parents this over and over as they could never seem to remember...)
