I am rusty on my tengwar, and totally pre-caffeinated. Does that really say what I think it does?

(Okay, to avoid spoilers, I think it says "BUTTSEKKS", with some terminating punctuation that I don't recognize. Shouldn't an owl be saying O RLY?)

Yup, that's it. This isn't the/an ORLY owl, which has a different facial expression. It's the, well, the THIS owl, I guess (see here (http://media.urbandictionary.com/image/large/buttsecks-43951.jpg)). I was curious about character used for a question mark too, although maybe it's due to choice of font.

I would have been really... amused, I guess is the word... if they had tried to translate it into Sindarin or Quenya. But mercifully, perhaps, Tolkien appears to have omitted that section of the vocabulary. ;)
