enotsola got his police clearance from the RCMP today. We were expecting it to take much longer than that (they said 3-4 months was likely). Now we have to hope its validity doesn't expire before he actually needs it. I haven't heard anything from USCIS yet. I should check the online status. Theere was some problem with getting out "notices of action", so I still haven't gotten that first one, but I shouldn't be expecting the second (approval of the petition) until the end of August at the earliest, and that's behind the original schedule I was expecting which would have placed his interview in November sometime (I forget by how much). So I really hope they accept them for 6 months and that he has his interview before then, because having to get another would be a pain in the rear.
