Sure it is, if you were trying to describe a style of jazz/swing music.

Although I must say that the idea of big bang music is pretty intriguing.

The only Japanese noise I know is Merzbow and that's already too much for me. My ex was a big fan of clashy experimental stuff and it's really not my thang.

I'm in the mood for it every once in a while. It kind of blots out your brain for a bit I suppose which is its appeal. Not in the mood for it that often.
