The PantheaCon schedule is up unbelievably early this year. I know the habit of not having it up on the website until mere days before the con was something they were saying they'd address, but to me this almost goes too far in the other direction. I was expecting mid-January or something. I find myself raising an eyebrow and saying ...Really? (And it kind of makes me wonder exactly what the problem has been all this time, if they were capable of getting it out this far in advance this year.)

This is about right for the first draft of the schedule, the one the presenters get (and can argue if they got assigned a time-slot they can't deal with). The schedule hasn't usually been open to the public this early but presenters usually got their copies about this time.

If they're showing it to the public this early, they must be fairly well committed to it.

As far as I can tell this is the finalized schedule and they are encouraging attendees to make plans with it, including a somewhat awkward web tool to do so with. (Whenever I saw the sekrit presenters' schedule before, that was January, certainly not this early. Although I suppose there would have been earlier drafts I wasn't privy to as they puzzled it all together.)

They did a number of things differently this year; the process of notifying presenters was strangely clandestine, and they're announcing cancellations as they happen.
