Eye colors to choose from in the "Information for Criminal Records Search" section of the N-400 "Application for Naturalization" form:

Brown, blue, green, hazel, grey, black, pink, maroon, other.

Pink's weird, but, I guess, if you're an albino or something, ok.

But maroon? WTF? Maroon eyes?

That's for Hannibal Lecter, no doubt..:P...only person/character I've read of who naturally has "maroon" eyes per se.

Of course, it's also probably applicable to albinos of lesser extremity....Jack Griffin, the titular Invisible Man of H.G. Wells' novel, described himself as "almost an albino," and in death his still-open eyes were described as looking "like garnets."

So......it's certainly possible. The rarest natural eye colours are violet, followed by emerald-green. But those would apparently be specified under "Other," as being rarer than either pink or maroon. So one thus-allegedly has a better chance of being born an albino than of having the eyes of Harry Potter or Elizabeth Taylor.
