Yes, I know it is a new moon and there is no lighting of sky-paths going on right now. The phase of the moon is one of those things I am pretty much constantly aware of. Just a little word picture, ok? Those seem to be assaulting me from multiple angles lately. Darker portion of the year (ca. October - February) tends to agree with me energetically and produce more blithering.

Funny, that happens to me, too. I get much more writerly in the fall. The rest of the year I can be pretty creative in other media but for some reason, in fall and winter it starts to come in words.
