Oh, good. I am glad to learn that haru is "spring" and not "stream". See, something about the word struck me. Like it might be good for a name. Even though I recently found out that my rising sign is actually Aquarius, it's about 26 degrees so and very close to Pisces, and I've long thought of myself as Pisces rising... the opposite of my sun sign, Virgo. I'm also an "autumn" colour scheme, with my warm tone skin and naturally reddish brown hair. Autumn and winter jive well with me energetically. Etc. So I thought... "spring" would be an amusingly paradoxical name... perhaps a way to claim the things I (think I) am not.
Haru. I don't know. It just sounds good. Even though my favourite initial letters are J and M and I like the "sh" or "th" sound to be in names.
I was also trying to make sure it wasn't inflected in some way (like some languages have possessive case, etc) and thus didn't need to be changed back to a root form of some kind.
