(first question seen in [livejournal.com profile] metaphorge, others from [livejournal.com profile] darkmoon)

1. What 5 LJ friends have you known longest?

This is kind of a confused question for me.

Technically, [livejournal.com profile] richpizor should figure in, as I was a friend of his younger sister when I was, like, five years old (1983), but the several-years' age difference between us which now is trivial was much more significant then, so I can't say that I ever actually knew him, per se.

[livejournal.com profile] devafall I met in person in, err.. early 1999? something? after having chanced to have been corresponding with him a little bit via email during 1998.

[livejournal.com profile] enotsola I was vaguely familiar with from various otherkin lists during part of 1998, but I put our "meeting" in March of 1999 (physical meeting following in June). [livejournal.com profile] rialian is, interestingly, about ditto: passing familiarity with him from lists, meeting in person in June 1999. A good portion of my friends list is people I met with on otherkin lists, which means it's very hard to pin down exactly when I first heard of them (although none can be earlier than May 1998). Now that I mention that date, it seems likely that I was acquainted with folks like [livejournal.com profile] mal_akh, [livejournal.com profile] cangelo, [livejournal.com profile] gothikfaerie, [livejournal.com profile] nalidoll and [livejournal.com profile] annalaridae before I knew [livejournal.com profile] enotsola and [livejournal.com profile] rialian, since I seem to recall having been on long-defunct TirNanOc and wyldefae and similar lists. [livejournal.com profile] danodea probably falls into that group as well.

So blah. I'm not sure who I've known the longest. They seem to all be in one big clump. 1998 and 1999 were... interesting years, to say the least. ~_^

2. Is/are your significant other/s on LJ?
Yes - [livejournal.com profile] enotsola.

3. Do you have LJ friends you've never met in real life?
Err... yes. *counts* 37 of them, I think?

4. Do you have friends that you met first on LJ, then in real life?
Not currently. I have LJ friends that I met first elsewhere on the net, then in real life. If I ever subsequently meet anyone on my friends list that I haven't yet, then this response would turn to yes.

5. Do you discuss personal information in your LJ?
Sometimes; depends what you mean by "personal". I usually consider my religion and magic posts to be fairly personal and I have filters for them. Other than that, what I post is fairly non-personal.

appropos of nothing, I don't think TNO is defunct, although I haven't talked to Gazer in awhile. I gave the list and the domain name to Gazer about three or four years back now, and he was running it. It moved to tirnanoc@topica after Om and I split up, long story there, but I left it not long thereafter. I gave it to Gazer because he'd adopted the webring.

I don't know how active it is now, though, or if he still runs it as a kin list. I know the TNO website he now has set up I think as a message board or somesuch.
I do remember you from the TNO list before I gave it up, though, and I think you used to even drop by the IRC channel once in awhile too. :) Do you still talk to Willow? I haven't talked to her in so long, and I think about her fairly often actually.

Willow is currently a member on olderkin@yahoogroups.com, iirc. She doesn't post often.

I joined DarkFae in Feb 1998, and joined WyldFae & MidnightVoices not too long after that. I was on TNO only briefly, and not under the original incarnation.
