1. What 5 LJ friends have you known longest?
This is kind of a confused question for me.
Technically,
richpizor should figure in, as I was a friend of his younger sister when I was, like, five years old (1983), but the several-years' age difference between us which now is trivial was much more significant then, so I can't say that I ever actually knew him, per se.
devafall I met in person in, err.. early 1999? something? after having chanced to have been corresponding with him a little bit via email during 1998.
enotsola I was vaguely familiar with from various otherkin lists during part of 1998, but I put our "meeting" in March of 1999 (physical meeting following in June).
rialian is, interestingly, about ditto: passing familiarity with him from lists, meeting in person in June 1999. A good portion of my friends list is people I met with on otherkin lists, which means it's very hard to pin down exactly when I first heard of them (although none can be earlier than May 1998). Now that I mention that date, it seems likely that I was acquainted with folks like
mal_akh,
cangelo,
gothikfaerie,
nalidoll and
annalaridae before I knew
enotsola and
rialian, since I seem to recall having been on long-defunct TirNanOc and wyldefae and similar lists.
danodea probably falls into that group as well.
So blah. I'm not sure who I've known the longest. They seem to all be in one big clump. 1998 and 1999 were... interesting years, to say the least. ~_^
2. Is/are your significant other/s on LJ?
Yes -
enotsola.
3. Do you have LJ friends you've never met in real life?
Err... yes. *counts* 37 of them, I think?
4. Do you have friends that you met first on LJ, then in real life?
Not currently. I have LJ friends that I met first elsewhere on the net, then in real life. If I ever subsequently meet anyone on my friends list that I haven't yet, then this response would turn to yes.
5. Do you discuss personal information in your LJ?
Sometimes; depends what you mean by "personal". I usually consider my religion and magic posts to be fairly personal and I have filters for them. Other than that, what I post is fairly non-personal.

I do remember you from the TNO list before I gave it up, though, and I think you used to even drop by the IRC channel once in awhile too. :) Do you still talk to Willow? I haven't talked to her in so long, and I think about her fairly often actually.

Date: Jan. 14th, 2004 05:02 pm (UTC)From:re. Willow: I haven't seen her around anywhere in quite some time. I gather she's reasonably busy with Pagan writing. Witch Crafts has been out since 2002 and I actually saw it turn up in one of those glossy, "new age / spirituality" types of catalogs that I can't seem to stop receiving.
I don't see any email address that I recognize as belonging to her on either KinFrontiers or WestKin list. (I know she was on WestKin, at least until mid-2002, when discussion was originally going gung-ho about a Western gather and we were also talking about some kind of smaller "barbecue" type thing at her house.)
Odd as it sounds, you might be able to get in contact with her through her publisher (Citadel, at least for Witch Crafts).
