enotsola feels that he did very well on his English and Math placement tests for
Conestoga College today. The proposition of him being able to get into college** is good for more reasons than just the merit of having an education; it's one of the "pre-requisites" for us living together and eventually marrying, and of course, since he's still under 24, being a full-time student would once again mean getting monthly government checks for some bizarre Canadian semi-socialist (*wink*) reason, and money is always a good thing.
** -- In the states we tend to use the terms "college" and "university" mostly interchangeably, but Conestoga seems to me more like what we would call a "vocational/technical school" here - the programs are shorter with a lot less "general education" requirements, and in general more skills-oriented than academic.
