Seen on a yellow Dodge Stealth today:

STFU NUB

The bugger had tinted windows, though, so I couldn't really try to catch the driver's eyes and give him thumbs-up.

enotsola: well, it's a [President's Choice brand] thing, in the same packaging as their hamburgers..
enotsola: they're just hotdogbunsized and pork instead of hamburgerbunsized and beef
tass: ah
tass: hotdogbunsized
tass: hotdogbunsized
tass: that's a silly looking word
enotsola: heh
enotsola: sorry, I didn't feel like using spaces
tass: OH GODS!
tass: "Eris, she just don't want none if it's a hot dog bun"

I'm not sure what's going on with me today. I had cravings for two foods I don't normally like: small quantities of sushi and sweet potato. Having consumed this repast (chunks of roasted sweet potato were available at Whole Foods, as well as the sushi), my stomach is responding in pretty much the same way it did the first time I had sushi a couple months ago - being slightly nauseous and salivate-y as if not sure what to do with raw fish - except that this time, it started it by telling me it wanted it in the first place. (Must have been one of those "well, it seemed like a good idea at the time" things.) So I had a few ginger Altoids and am currently sipping green tea while I digest.

Like last time, I'm pretty sure two of the bits were tuna and salmon (one darker pink, one lighter pink that if it isn't salmon, judging by what I see in the normal fish counter, it's doing a good impersonation). A third was what looked like a slice of butterflied prawn and it seemed to actually have been cooked. The tentacle-like thing was there again, and this time I ate it despite not being able to identify it nor really tell whether it was raw or cooked. It had no particular taste or texture by which to identify it. So oh well. The dominant taste on any piece was the soy sauce, ginger and wasabi (except the possible tentacle, which also tasted of seaweed since it had been tied to the rice with a strip of it), and the dominant texture the rice. How am I supposed to tell what I like and what I don't when none of it has any taste or texture? I don't get it.

The wasabi was much more potent this time. Maybe they mix their own and I got a bum dab of it in the tray last time, I dunno. But I was... shall we say... surprised at the sensation that arose from the amount I put on the first piece. Not that I haven't had wasabi before, but I was figuring this would be the same as the last time (which I had classed as "fairly anemic" or something) since it was the same tray combo from the same place. Silly me.
