This is from an ad in The New Yorker. The one on the left is kind of interesting because I'm almost not sure he's a he, but it's the one on the right I'm really pointing at. There's something unspeakably hot about him. Maybe it's just that I really like this kind of haircut.

This is interesting.. my co-worker is talking to someone on the phone asking if they know a curandero or curandera so they can give her granddaughter a cleansing/blessing (she's been in two serious car accidents in two months; after one they had to resuscitate her since she stopped breathing).

It's just kind of interesting to hear this folk magic transaction going on in the cube next to me. Somehow I wouldn't have expected it.

You know what the net needs?

"Tone" indicators on email and newsgroup and board posts, just like livejournal (and other such things) have "mood" indicators.

This is probably not an implementable feature in many cases but I think it should become an item of netiquette, or something.
