The Ur-Quan Masters version 0.5.0 has a searchable HyperSpace starmap. Hallelujah! I wrote a praise email to one of the team members, saying that the only possible better thing would have been a QuasiSpace map that somehow reminded one where the portals came out into HyperSpace (which is really the only thing I still have to pull out my map for).
