(no subject)

Thoughts/magic/Reiki/whatever appreciated for my mother right now - she's having a lot of trouble with a back muscle and is in a lot of pain, like every position hurts and apparently muscle relaxants and what painkillers we have aren't really cutting it. Doctor's appointment Tuesday but we'd really prefer not trying to go to emergency on a holiday weekend. (this would be the ... second? time for this kind of thing. I wanted to say third but I'm probably mixing it up with one time it was her knee and one of the times she broke an arm.)
