Unfortunately, it works. I can't simply say "I don't care, I'll look how I like and dress in what fits me." That only results in rejection from a lack of attractiveness. It may be morally wrong, but the standard is there. Unless I fit a certain shape, I am not pretty. I have lived with this for years and I am certain others have as well. On the other hand, there is no way to force someone to find someting attractive that they simply do not, that doesn't well up from the inside, and it seems that my form does not fit the bill. *shrug*
