immigration woes

I'm getting extremely frustrated and worried about my immigration application. I'm starting to see lots of "got it!!"s with Buffalo timelines like mine - in some cases having applied later, but the major telling thing about the "generation" being the time that they did the medical exam. People are posting about having got their passport requests in late January and early February, having done the medicals last August or September. I did my first medical exam in May, but they requested some further info which wasn't sent til August nor evaluated by them til September, so I usually count that as my "medicals date". I'm really starting to gnaw my fingernails here as I have no idea why I'm being passed over when so many other people of the same "generation" are not. (Two examples I saw today were a Belarusian citizen who was actually currently in Canada on a work permit, and another person also from the Bay area who was talking about having gotten a cheaper medical exam in LA.) I certainly hope my sending them a new FBI clearance really does spark someone pulling up the file and noticing that it's been complete since September, because that one instance of "Bring Forward Date: XX October 2006" is still really worrying me, even though all the others were the same date in 2004 (which at the time I got the CAIPS, had already passed), and because if they don't notice by, like, April, I'm going to have to do the fucking medical exam all over again since it will expire on May 5th.

what the fuck are they doing??? why am I getting passed over when so many other people "with me" are not?

I'm sorry they're putting you through all that BS. I know how heartbreaking it must be for you after all this time and effort. I hope they get their shit together, soon.
