OMG! It's a miracle! This year's PantheaCon doesn't appear to have any "oh man, that's a can't miss" things scheduled on any of the three mornings. Maybe a "want to" on Sunday at 11, but I'll need to see more than a workshop title to be sure. Monday I have to get up anyway for checkout, but at least now I won't have to ponder being up for 9 AM. I won't have to drag my carcass out of bed before noon! Or rather, won't have to feel bad about missing, because sleep (and/or hangover) usually win. Nor any "oh man, that's a can't miss" scheduled over the Green Fairy, either night. 'mazin.

Yeah, well, there weren't a whole hell of a lot of "OMG can't miss" things planned...at any time. I believe this will be a social year...

I suppose we all have our own definitions of that. But yeah, the schedule as a whole didn't... pulsate... for me this year? If that makes sense? Again, though, seeing detailed descriptions might change things.

Yurgh. Have to show up at like 10 AM if I want to park, I'm sure.

True. And yeah, I grok...there are probably things I _could_ go to, if there's nothing else to do, but very few things that I just HAVE to hit.

And yeah, parking was pretty crazy last year...I think I got there at noon and it wasn't great. Good thing I live close :)

We both live close. I drove back and forth to Baycon in um... 2003? because I decided to go so late that it was impossible to get a room. I dropped my mother off at Twelfth Night (SCA event at the same place on the 1st weekend of January) because of the lack of distance. So "getting there at 10" is mostly whining, not a serious inconvenience, heh.

Did they get the final schedule up? I'm not seeing it on the page.

No. As I said, it doesn't include any details, just names, titles, locations, and times. I got a link from a friend (in a post which is friends locked unless I actually log in as starlightforest and not just do the on the fly user switching, so forgive me for not doing the sleight of hand to get to it).

Hmm. I'm waiting to see the final schedule, because they forgot to put my workshop in the second-to-final one.

I dunno what iteration that is, but you're right, I don't see you on it.

every time I look at the "secret" schedule something changes. I sure hope they get more good stuff up there!!!

I've never been to PantheaCon ... I've heard its good, but never from anyone elated enough with it to spark much enthusiasm in me. At least, not while I was living within easy reach of it. doh.

I should go look, maybe, now that everyone else seems to be talking about it..
