I just did one of my periodic browsings through the LJ school directory for my high school, seeing who had self-identified. It's kind of interesting the number of people who subsequently went to De Anza College any time between 1995-2005, even if we didn't have the same 1991-1995 years in high school; to wit, I wonder if I might have checked out a computer or otherwise "professionally" interacted with any of these people, both parties all unknowing.
In stalker news, I once used my access to the Student Information System to look up some of the class schedules of one of my ex-boyfriends. I fail to see how I could actually use the fact of knowing what classes he took what is now 11 years ago to any personal advantage, though, so I don't think of it that harshly. At the time it would have gained me his Social Security number, now that I think about it, but now it's an 8-digit system, so that's unrecoverable to me.
