Can anyone explain to me how to get ljArchive to actually, you know, work? I've tried several times (not only just now, but at various points in past years, too), from both work and home, and all it does is download the "sync index" for a bazillion years (quickly getting into numbers like "20000 of 3759...") and then finally error out saying "the server is not responding". I can't read the help right now because I always timeout trying to get to sourceforge from work. Am I possibly making some kind of idiot mistake?

I believe, if I remember correctly, you can only do it month by month. Not a huge chunk. :/

Um, ok... but I don't see any options to restrict what it tries to download. I suspect I may not even be getting that far. Hm.

I have had problems with both ljarchive and ljsm since using a rename token. let me know if you find anything? grarg. Have to archive since 2001. This is painful.

I only tried it once since using the token. All the other times I tried (and failed) were with my original journal name. Feh.

Someone sent someone a slightly updated version which fixed some other bug having to do with date string formatting. I have no idea if that will help with this (haven't tried yet) but it is worth a shot: 0.9.8.
