An SCA friend of my mother's may be moving to the east coast and later on moving to Sweden (!). If she does so she wants to rent her 2-bedroom San Jose condo (curiously, almost exactly in the place I used to go to an MST3K meetup ~3-5 years ago) for $1500 a month. Not that without two incomes we have $1500 a month to blow on rent, not without totally giving up the idea of savings (and even then it would be dubious), but this isn't something happening right away anyway. enotsola getting his legal-to-work documents, or, more importantly, with him getting some sort of work, I can't say. Dunno if we'd even like the place (the area's not bad, but I was never that thrilled with it).
