Easter's unusually early this year, but really, I'm sure they went on the shelves February 15th.
Peeps come in a lot of shapes for various holidays, not just Easter. I know you can buy ghosts and pumpkins and cats at Halloween, and trees and stuff at Christmas, at least.
When I eat the chick formed ones I think I actually eat them tail first... I'm probably alone in that.
