What are your middle names? Joseph and Ann.
How long have you been together? Depends how you count it, but the best average is ten years come June.
How long did you know each other before you started dating? Again this depends how you count it, but about three months.
Who asked who out? It just kind of happened. I'm the one who initiated most of the "steps forward" though, if you want to call it that.
How old are each of you? 28 and 30 (I'm older). Aside from the year difference our birthdays are only 5 days apart.
Whose siblings do/did you see the most? His (one brother). I have none. Although "the most" is rare enough anyway; used to be a few times a year but now that we are both living in California it's possible I may never see him again (they're in Ontario).
Do you have any children together? No. And there will be none.
Pets? None.
Which situation is the hardest on you as a couple? We live in my parents' house, retired parents included. We can't afford to move out on just the one income.
Did you go to the same school? Neither of us goes to school anymore. I got my BA nine years ago and he got a two-year diploma in 2005.
Are you from the same home town? Heck no. I was born in California, he in Nova Scotia.
Who is the smartest? Him, although I have more formal education and generally whup him at Jeopardy.
Who is the most sensitive? Him, possibly, but you'd have to define at what.
Where do you eat out most as a couple? A sushi restaurant down the street a couple miles.
Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple? Um... well, given our different starting points, I guess the place that is mutually furthest is Texas? Or to put it another way, the single longest journey point A to B that we were on together was when we drove from Ontario to California in 2006.
Who has the craziest exes? He does.
Who has the worst temper? I'm not sure. I don't think I've ever seen him truly angry. Me, I don't get that pissed off that much.
Who does the cooking? Mostly me, because he still feels kind of weird in this house's kitchen, but he does cook some.
Who is more social? Him.
Who is the neat-freak? Both of us. (Two Virgos, what do you want?)
Who is the more stubborn? Me, although we can sometimes both get into "I won't if you're not going to" "Well I'm not going to if you won't" snits if we haven't eaten recently enough and are in that three-year-old kind of a mood that can sometimes put you into.
Who hogs the bed? Hmm, neither really, but I am usually the blanket-stealer.
Who wakes up earlier? I do, since he's currently unemployed.
Where was your first date? Um, a group camping trip? Sort of? We've never really gone on "dates" per se.
Who has the bigger family? He does, both in terms of a family tree chart and people who are currently alive. His grandfather was one of like 348328423 children -- he has cousins up the wazoo.
How do you spend the holidays? We used to alternate whether he came out to CA or I went to Ontario. I think from now on we will be spending them all here, because his stepfather and mother go to his stepfather's brother's place, and well, it's just not something we want to be in on anyway.
Who is more jealous? Me.
How long did it take to get serious? That was almost instant.
Who eats more? Him, but I eat more often.
Who does/did the laundry? Mostly me, because like with the kitchen, he's a bit woogey about "our" washer ("our" not including him).
Who’s better with the computer? Him, since he programs for a living, although I'm more savvy than the average bear (capable of building one from components and getting it up and running with an OS).
Who drives when you are together? I do. He doesn't have a license and in fact has never learned how.
