Possibly, although I don't see how one would get at it without actually taking the cylinder apart. I'm going to try gently gripping and wiggling the button thingy ("gas open pin" apparently, according to a quick Google for a diagram) with some tongue-and-groove pliers or something. But fortunately, if it comes to it, replacement cylinders aren't horribly expensive (on the order of about $25) and getting the thing apart to put a new one in doesn't appear to be as much of a hassle as I feared.
