Does the design of Madame Razz in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power really, really remind anyone else of some other specific cartoon/video game character? I can't put my finger on it and it's bugging the heck out of me.



There's a resemblance to some live-action characters such as Sybill Trelawney, but I really feel like there's an animated human (or human-shaped) character I'm just failing to think of.

Definitely get the Trelawney vibes, but for drawn characters, the only thing that comes to mind are the old lady Miyazaki witches. My media proficiency is pretty minimal though, so I could totally be missing something obvious

The ones that come to mind is Mommy Fortuna and Molly Grue from The Last Unicorn, and Ryoko and Washu from Tenchi Muyo. Outside of that, there is always Sonic and Silver from Sonic the Hedgehog?

I thought of Mommy Fortuna, but she's not close enough. The hunched-over pose is similar but the hair isn't and I'm pretty sure whoever I'm trying to think of also has the round glasses.

I've never seen Tenchi Muyo so that's not it. And whoever I'm thinking of is human(-shaped, at least), so not hedgehogs either.

I've only ever seen some Miyazaki imagery in passing (mostly on Tumblr). I don't think I've ever sat down and actually watched any of his films. I suppose if it's that kind of thing that would explain why I am struggling so much to remember a title or character name, though.

If you don't mind my butting in, you DEFINITELY should watch some! If nothing else, I heartily recommend you check out "Spirited Away". Not just 'cause it's my very most favorite Studio Ghibli film, but it's absolutely GORGEOUS and the soundtrack is amazeballs! *squees in fangirl*
