Doubletree room reservations for the con are already friggin' open. No lazing around (ha!) and waiting til July (ha!) this time. If you want to book online at the hotel's website, the convention code is PAN (I don't think this is mentioned on the PCon website at the moment).

Already friggin' closed too, at least by phone they were (not sure if they have different counts for the site, like the way Ticketmaster and the box office have different blocks of seats available for a show). I called yesterday and got the last rooms in the block. I expect they'll open another segment or something soon, but dayamn...

wtf? That's weird. Unless you were calling them at like midnight, I was probably making my reservation online well after you tried. You were told specifically "already sold out for that event," not just that the person didn't seem to know what you wanted?
