My ears are currently being favoured (?) with what sounds like a mashup of "Der Kommissar" and "U Can't Touch This" coming from the quad.

It's actually kind of interesting. Took me a while to tease apart the frustratingly "gawd this sounds familiar; what the hell is it" parts.
eta: AUGH WE JUST GOT RICKROLLED BY A LUNCHTIME QUAD PERFORMANCE
badly, at that. this guy can't seem to find his tunes at all. something about the broad side of a barn comes to mind.
eta2: Ahhhh. It has turned out to be karaoke. Thay explains the diversity of song selection and the large amounts of cheering for quite bad singing.
