Gawd, I never thought of it before! Isn't it important to claim my own name?
I've started actually using Elisann in a couple of places (Lisanne was just too close to the real thing), shortening it to 'Lis when it would seem too formal to use the whole name. It's kind of like Me 2.0 - not the name I never liked when growing up, but at the same time enough like it that I feel I'm purposely naming myself that, rather than having it thrust upon me like so much greatness (spot the Twelfth Night ref!). This is actually having an interesting effect.
