Androgyny test. (Not automated; you have to write down your own answers and add them.)

I wonder why they have the "neutral" traits in there at all, since they have no bearing whatsoever on the final score. Just to compare to, maybe? (I got 75/140, there.) My score of -17 makes me "nearly feminine", but really, I was weak on both "masculine" and feminine traits (scoring 50/140 on masc and 67/140 on fem). I'm just more feminine than I am masculine, apparently (mainly lacking in leadership, assertiveness, etc. such "masculine" traits).

So if I'm "nearly feminine", then why don't I get to have a "nearly female" body? Or is that what it is already? :P *grumble*

I got a -33, with 75/140 on masc and 108/140 on fem. These tests always identify me as fairly femme, which is not particularly inaccurate.

No kidding, if I could make my body significantly more androgynous, I'd do so in a heartbeat *sigh*

Heh, in my case, I actually meant that I felt my body is too androgynous, and that I would rather it looked more identifiably female (specifically, that I had noticeable breasts). Like "okay, so if I'm not as andro as I thought, then how come I can't at least have a not-as-andro body, too?"

It's my experience and opinion that only feminine androgynes actually look good, and this is something that happens mostly among the genetically male; for a genetic female to look androgynous requires that she take on masculine characteristics, and these just don't tend to look right. A boy with a soft, feminine face is pretty. A girl with a long, angular one is not.

Ah, our tastes differ then. If find both options to be very attractive and slightly prefer somewhat masculine-looking female-bodied people to somewhat feminine-looking male-bodied people. However, I am both bi and strongly attracted to androgyny.

For whatever it's worth, you're very pretty. A long, angular face isn't commonly considered attractive among humans, but I (and, I imagine, other elves) quite like it.

*cough* Um.

1. They are most certainly noticable. Just 'cause they don't announce your arrival an hour in advance of the rest of your body doesn't mean they aren't attractive, or that it's particularly relevant even. I think I speak for most of my species in saying so. I'd like to hope so.

2. I agree about the feminine androgynes. Slightly feminine males (in the Albert way, not the drag king way), and slightly masculine females (in the "goth androgyne genetic-female" sense) can both be quite attractive... though not, IMHO, if it's accompanied by some of the more "masculine" secondary sex characteristics of malehood.

3. A girl with a long, angular face is indeed pretty.

4. Where's the full picture that icon is taken from?

Ergh. Everyone always thinks I mean "need their own zip code" when I say "noticeable". I don't. I mean, the same measurement as my hips (which they aren't). Proportion. That's all.
