Unless I'm totally missing something, under Style System 2 I can't modify the text of my comments links. Aside from choosing a layout and tweaking font and colours, the only options I can change are my mood theme, and whether I want my domain to forward to my livejournal. No overrides box at all. The FAQ is supremely unhelpful: there's only one question about S2 ("Why can't I find this option under S2?") and the answer doesn't apply to me ("You most likely don't have a type of account that permits it") - unless they mean that only permanent users or early adopters can modify those things in S2, which I doubt. >_< So back to S1 I went. It kinda sucks, because changing the colours was easier than it is in S1.

You're missing something. All of the S2 styles I've played around with so far have had that option. Usually the first tab of "customizations" is the color, then you need to click over to the "text" tab (usually)

I didn't have a "text" tab. It said "Colors" (or equivalent), "Fonts", and "Other". That was it. Modifying my comments links wasn't under "other". It might have been because of the layout I chose (umm... a something.. something... doh. I don't remember.)

Probably was the style then. So far I've played with Generator, Tabular Indent (that's the one that seemed to not do the text correctly for every browser but Safari), and the new one, Component. All three of those have had that option.

And so far I've been twitchy about some detail or another in them, and so went back to my S1 style... but not until after saving color schemes of my own for each so if I do decide to change over later I don't have to re-create them from scratch.
