I'm sure your design is very nice, but making it in black velvet and then photographing it against a black backdrop is not the best way to show off that fact.

It's been rather warm here the past couple of weeks- in the mid-40's to low fifties- and it's been unpleasantly sunny, especially being that I expect a certain level of pleasant dreariness in February. Today it was cool and cloudy and rainy and grey and beautiful, and I've been sort of revelling in it.
