What about paper/cardboard matches, I'm fairly certain that they are made from the lowest grade paper they can possibly use, and so are not getting any trees killed for that purpose. There are also some very nice fuel-less electric lighters, but then again I'm far more of a technopagan/kin than you are.
You make assumptions, sir. Just because I don't work my wiles through computer circuits (for the most part) doesn't mean I don't like technology where it helps to preserve the Tall and Green Ones!
(I actually do fairly well with technology.. for example, you mention that sometimes you panic when strange things happen with computers... I just grit my teeth and make them obey. Perhaps I am a silicon nocker. ^_^)
Well said, I typically assume that most people are less inclined to mix high technology and their spiritual practice, but I am also perfectly will (and somewhat pleased) to be proven wrong about this.
