Did you staple your hand? Staples hurt something about them makes the wound itch afterwards, not that i uh staple my hand or anything. Nope I'm not clumsy at all.
He was actually referring to "hand-staple-forehead"; I expressed despair and he offered me a stapler. It took explanation for me to understand what the heck he was talking about.
