For once the deal with the DMV wasn't too bad. Apparently the two license records just didn't get merged for some reason. I'm a little dismayed that they're not going to send me some kind of confirmation of the action they said they've just taken, though; for all I know I'm going to get another notice later saying "hey, you're late!"
Still need to get a hold of the Ministry of Transportation, but it's like 4:30 back there now, and they close awfully early in that part of the country. Heh.
