Anyone ever taken a close look at the Trivial Pursuit card in the video for Weird Al's "White and Nerdy"?

That's brilliant.

That said, I must display my ignorance . . . Does HP actually die? I lost interest halfway through the series.

Oh good ghod. Now I am so very relieved that I lost interest halfway through. That's too funny.

Well, I already was. That character was one fo the reasons I stopped reading the series; I can be paternalized at in real life, I don't need it in my fiction.

But I suppose that brings up an interesting writerly point: How might one treat the main character of a first-person tale as a child, without also treating the reader as a child?
