Am in the Las Vegas airport waiting to connect to Manchester, NH (going to Aeternitas, a Harry Potter con). The main thing this place makes me think of is the first Leisure Suit Larry game, which is set in the fictional town of "Lost Wages".

This email is reaching you from FABULOUS LAS VEGAS. Actually the airport isn't that fabulous although there are slot machines (natch) and bizarre Best Buy vending machines (for all those times you wished you could buy an mp3 player or something - I haven't actually looked at the offerings - in an airport, I guess?) and scary posters advertising some place I can go to shoot a "real machine gun" just off the Strip. O.o
Mom, I got you a magnet to add to the collection. I think the fridge is going to tip over soon.
