Looking at a map today confirms that New Hampshire is further east than Montreal (which is approximately in line with the state line between New York and Vermont), which makes this the furthest east I've ever been (and am ever likely to be, unless trips to Nova Scotia and Ireland/UK materialize), as I remarked in the car on the way here from Manchester airport that I thought I might be. Previously Montreal had edged out New York City.

It's just stopped thundering and raining out there. I awoke about 45-60 minutes ago to the sound of absolutely pouring down rain, which was beating the surface of the lake into a mist so thick I couldn't even see the lake. It seems to have stopped (although I do have an umbrella), so maybe it's time to go register for the con. (have to walk outside to do so)

One of the local breweries here is called Smuttynose. *snerk* Apparently that's the name of an island. (http://smuttynose.com/faqs_questions_we_get_asked.html) I imagine they would have at least some of their lineup at the grocery store across the street, so I may have to try some.

You mother is worried that you're going to be taken off to Oz by a tornado, or some junk. You should call her later or something. Or at least mail her later to let her know you're alive.

Heh, it's weird that you're on the same coast as me when I'm getting ready to take a trip out to Four Quarters. (I've been talked into doing Beltane there by a friend. Will be the first Church-run event I've been to there, as well as the first non-otherkin one.)

Hope you're having fun up in New Hampshire. *grins* Enjoy the fabulous east-coast weather. ;-)

Down here, we got a tornado yesterday during rush hour that seemed to take a liking to I-95 just below the city.
