Watching a video of Jim Parsons speak at San Diego ComicCon is kind of depressing. I can feel my crush crumbling before my eyes. It's like, he must be a good actor, because Sheldon really tickles my fancy, but Jim totally doesn't.
I had the same thing recently with hanging out with Todd Rundgren, whom I had had such a crush on a couple of decades ago, with all his songs talking about spiritual awakening and being good to each other and all. In person, NO. Sure, he got older and a little plumper over the decades, but even when I look at a video from twenty-something years back, when he's slim and younger and all, NO. He's got many good things going for him that i like and appreciate, but not crush-material for me. *shrug*
