Looks like we got a room for PCon! \0/
Better get on it if you're planning, to, folks - first block of 100 rooms just opened a few minutes ago. 1 room per person booking, period. I recommend using the hotel website to book because it is much faster than taking time to speak reservation info to a person. The code is different than in previous years: CDTPAN (rather than just PAN).
eta: Sold out in less than 20 minutes, by the looks of the complaints on Facebook; some people saying they were gone by 12:05. The length of time it takes to place a reservation by phone is apparently precious time wasted. If you must book by phone because you can't get to a computer right at noon, the national reservation line at 888-370-0998 might be your best bet, because angry people are saying they could not get through to staff's recommended contact Katie Baldasano at 408-437-2810, reporting "number no longer in service" or landing on a voicemail that referred them to an 800 number where people had no idea what PantheaCon was.
I understand why they do not move hotels, but this has become an absolute circus. (I still think they need to start limiting badge sales.)
