Huzzah! Got a mail from City of Sunnyvale today to go in for the written (how odd - the posting said oral, which I assumed was a fancy silly phrase for "interview") test on the evening of Thursday the 14th. I wonder what the heck they are going to test me on for three hours? The Fremont Union High School district tested me on English spelling and punctuation, arithmetic, and typing speed, but that was for a registrar's position, and all of it only took about an hour. I better brush up on my Dewey Decimal System. I should probably also hie me to the library and re-learn exactly where all of the various collections are located. I haven't used it regularly since I was in high school.
I'm very amused now that both of these (this and the call from Judy yesterday) followed so swiftly on yesterday's bit o' magic. And crikey, it wasn't even so much as a candle spell or anything - just a few moments of reaching out and pulling (for lack of a better term). Wack, yo.
