blah. i had a livejournal post i was working on before i left work to go home sick yesterday afternoon, and since it wouldn't post because of their database maintenance or whatever, i could have sworn i emailed it to myself here at home in the hopes of posting it later. as it happened i didn't even turn the computer on at all when i got home, just laid in bed, ate soup and watched star trek, but anyway. it's not here. so bah. this was not the best time to get sick, what with party on saturday and all that. i think i'm going back to bed now to try to get better. i'm actually not that ill, under ordinary circumstances i would have stayed at work yesterday and gone today, but i really want this to go away post haste.

speaking of post haste, i have to make it down to the post office today to mail a half.com order i foolishly confirmed yesterday. blah. maybe i can pick up some echinacea something from picadilly...
