And I'm still sniffly and congested and a bit tired (although not really sick) like I have been for almost a week now. it sucks. I don't normally stay sick for this long. I used up about a third of my sick leave between last Wednesday and Thursday and the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before that. See, I got a bit sick at first. So I did the smart thing and stayed home to get better. I was fine at the party on Saturday and fine on Sunday except that I had had a bit too much to drink (see earlier entry). I was fine on Monday and fine on Tuesday until that evening. Then my throat started getting scratchy again, and on Wednesday I did the same thing as I had done the previous week, and came in for two or three hours, went "oh gods what am I doing here" and went home to sleep some more. But I haven't been able to shake it all weekend and I'm still mucusy and blegh.
On the brighter side of things, the next time I see enotsola is in three weeks and two days, and if I am lucky I might be able to use one (well actually two, because of the length of the flight >_<) of the Executive-Class Upgrade certificates I randomly got in the mail from Aeroplan (Air Canada's "frequent flyer" program). Apparently I accumulated enough miles to hit the next tier of status, which is called Prestige. That still doesn't get me on the plane first, though - that's Elite and Super Elite, although I guess if I managed to use the certificates, that the Executive Class seat would get me early boarding for that one flight. I just want a seat where I can sit comfortably and only have one neighbour, heheh. Unfortunately, the catch is this: they're only valid in the booking classes with less restrictions (i.e. you can phone up and change the date of the flight), which are more expensive to purchase in the first place. Thus I will be unable to use them on my normal habit of lowest-economy, all-restrictions bookings. Feh. Bloody hell if I'm letting them go to waste, though. ^_^
