March 5th: Call for the Moratorium
Basically a day to walk out of work or school as a protest against war on Iraq. This is something I'm all for, but I feel quite remiss in that I am not brave enough to actually participate. In my defense, though, it is mainly out of a sense of consideration for my fellow employees - if I don't show up to work, that means there is no supervisor here from 3:30 - 9:00 pm, and as a supervisor is required to be here, it's a big imposition on the other staff to try to fill in somehow. I already spent enough time being sick the week before last and the week before that.
