In the restroom down the hall from what we shall for the sake of argument call my office, there are five stalls. In two out of the five, the little metal sanitary-napkin-disposal-wastebasket-thing attached to the wall of the stall is hanging by just one of the two bolts. The other is missing. This would have been more relevant had it been so in all five, but I'm going to forge ahead anyway.

Who the heck goes around taking one bolt off a restroom stall waste thingy? Is my school infected with rutabagas? Or maybe they are really good, really subtle Discordians (or Malkavians - really, where is the distinction? ;)), and I have become part of the target audience of this act by Not Getting It.

Disclaimer: No, I don't actually think there is a Discordian Ladies' Room Bolt Stealing Campaign going on. Maybe there should be, though...

I'd suggest only stealing things from the Discordian Lady's room, but, um, keep your grubby mits off my stuff! ;}

My thought on the missing bolt is that it's cheaper for the management to only hang them by 1 bolt than 2. Then they only need to buy half the number of bolts. Hmmm. ;P

1) No, I don't mean they're supposed to be mounted like that - they're dangling at an angle and you can see the hole where the other bolt should have gone.

2) Why not do it in all the stalls then? It could be a modern interior design statement while they were at it. :)

um, there is quite a distinction between the malkavs and the discordians, but that's just my opinion
the last malkavian i delt with said he was a discordian, but that was later proved to be false
damn it, i wanna larp so badly, but all of the groups in the area suck balls
i'm in a tabletop starting tonight, and i guess that shall have to suffice for now

why would canada be stealing bolts to hang napkin something or other containers?
at least with the gnomes, they would have a reason:
1. steal bolts
2.
3. profit
:P
