edit: Social harmony is definitely more important to me than the idea of finding out the awful truth about someone. I would much rather that everyone literally "just get along" than that there be tension, whatever it might be based in and regardless of whether it's justified. I hate to watch people fight or glare at each other across a room. It's funny - I used to watch "People's Court" precisely because I found the shouting and fighting entertaining. I wonder what changed, and when...
