My DDR controller floor pad arrived today. Now I too can play Stomp Stomp Eviction. :) I'm really amused by some of the "Engrish" directions and warnings that accompany the thing...

Forbidden to use this product if your feet are seriously injured. Stop immediately If there is abnormal phenomenon in your foot, waist and back when using it. ("Abnormal phenomenon"? Such as... vortexes to other dimensions?)

Don not put it near the furniture and other odds and ends. (Sorry, how does Don Knotts figure into all this, again?)

Please put it on a flat floor, but not too smooth.

High technology product, do not apart, separate or fix it anyway. Or the damage can not be guaranteed.

And the real puzzler...

Make sure to pave the cushion.

please be sure to tell me if a vortex to another dimension pops up in your abdomen, that means you got one of the limited edition ddr pads, they're worth lots of money on ebay, plus i wanna jump into your chest into another dimension

Stomp Stomp Eviction.!! That is too cute!
Luckily for me, I live on the first floor, but I have an entirely DIFFERENT problem with it.

I don't know why, if it's my volume controls, or poor hearing or what, but I have to turn it up super ultra loud to hear it...
so with me it's more like "Bass Bass Revolution" ^_^

Luckily for us, our downstairs neighbor is an older woman who is slightly hard of hearing. The first time we played we talked to her the next morning and said we hoped we weren't too loud. When she said, "I didn't hear anything," we knew we had it made. :)

I have more to worry about my mom and dad, either of which may be sleeping at the time I arrive home from work. I suppose I could play in the mornings before I go to work. I was actually more interested in the thing for exercise than for getting proficient at the game.
