Spotted in alt.gothic. Something about this was just really amusing. Personally, I think the idea of having a goth club (party? what does one call one-off events, anyway? "party" works for electronic, but not so well for goth) at a roller skating rink is teh r0x0r.

i think "party" works okay for one-off gothy gathers, but then most of the goths i know are either of the PerkyGoth or NotAGoth variety, so there ya go. =)

There was a gothic skate night I was going to go to (but didn't) when I was in Portland. But then, Portland's pretty odd, too.

Oddly enough, I had a couple of dreams about moving to Vancouver in the first month after I moved to Tacoma. Both of them had cameos from Fenwick, and in one of them he was the bus driver, which was just all kinds of weird. :-)
